The Dakhla Lagoon stretches over nearly 40 km, offering water sports enthusiasts exciting destinations for downwinders and excursions thanks to its natural shape:

Speed Spot Dakhla lagoon

Speed Spot Dakhla

Join us on a 4×4 drive (approx. 40 minutes) to Dakhla’s famous Speed Spot. Here, you’ll find mirror-flat water – perfect for practicing freestyle tricks or speeding across the surface at full tilt. The excursion takes place when at least 5 participants have registered and is only possible during low tide and with a northerly wind. As this area is not a shallow water spot and no rescue boat is available, confident riding skills, relaunch, deep-water water start, and self-rescue techniques are required (minimum VDWS Level 5).
The group will be accompanied by at least one experienced kite instructor, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

White Dune Dakhla Lagoon

Trip “Downwinder to White Dune”

Take part in a 20 km downwinder to Dakhla’s famous “White Dune,” accompanied by 1-2 experienced guides. Adventurous kite surfers and wing foilers can try jumping off the approximately 8-meter-high dune. At the destination, a 4×4 pickup will be waiting to bring us back to the center comfortably.
This trip is suitable only for advanced kite surfers and wing foilers (minimum VDWS Level 5). It takes place only during high tide and with a northerly wind, as the dune must be surrounded by water; otherwise, the journey becomes difficult.
The downwinder requires a minimum of 3 participants to run. Please note that, due to the low water depth, no rescue boat is available.

Kitesurfing waves at the Wavespot in Dakhla

Trip “Wave Spot”

We’ll reach Dakhla’s Wave Spot in just 5 minutes by 4×4. This is a perfect wave spot where the waves break cleanly over a sandy bottom, offering ideal conditions for beginners learning to ride waves and exciting challenges for advanced riders.
An experienced guide will accompany you and provide helpful tips for kite surfing or wing foiling in the waves.
The wind at the Wave Spot is generally weaker than in the lagoon, so we only depart when the wind at the center reaches at least 25 knots. Additionally, we check the wave height in advance to ensure optimal conditions.
As the water at this spot is deep and no rescue boat is available, this tour is only suitable for advanced riders (VDWS Level 5-6).

Surfing waves in Dakhla

Trip “Surfing”

On windless days, we’ll head to a wave spot on the Atlantic coast, just 5 minutes away by 4×4. There, you’ll find moderate, clean-breaking waves – perfect for learning to surf. The sandy bottom ensures optimal and safe practice conditions, making this spot ideal for children as well.
An experienced guide will assist you on-site with valuable surfing tips. The tour requires at least 3 participants and only takes place during complete calm. Optionally, you can rent a surfboard.
