Dakhla Downwind Challenge 2021 Our special annual event is officially underway!

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Dakhla Downwind Challenge 2021 invites over 30 kitesurfers to participate in this unique downwind adventure to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the recovery of the Oued Eddahab province.

This is a very authentic kitesurf trip, one of a kind, from Dakhla to Lagouira, taking you through some of the most incredible landscapes and sceneries in the south of Morocco. The downwind covers over 500 km of kitesurfing through southern Morocco, taking you to truly unique spots.

Participants come from all over the world to join this adventure. It is an incredible opportunity to explore a region that is normally not accessible to tourists.

Support vehicles follow the kitesurfers throughout the 500 km adventure, accompanied by rescue boats. This ensures the total safety of all participants. The Dakhla Downwind Challenge sets up special camps each night at different locations along the coast.

Once the group reaches the new destination, refreshments are prepared, as well as the evening meal, so you can relax under the stars and enjoy nature.
